TRYPANOPHOBIA
Editorial Book Design

Trypanophobia is an editorial book that explores the fear of needles through expressive typography and experimental layout. Rather than simply describing the condition, the project translates the emotional experience of anxiety, anticipation, and relief into a visual narrative that readers can feel as they move through the book.

The design uses scale, rhythm, distortion, and pacing to mirror the psychological journey of treatment, allowing typography to become the primary storytelling device. By balancing expressive composition with readability, the book demonstrates how editorial design can communicate complex emotions beyond words alone.
